  • SAIL-Sample avAILability system: SAIL is a system to browse and search samples and phenotypes across diverse data collections, and is currently covering over 33,000 samples from 11 European studies. It provides an instant view of biomaterial and phenotype availability in major European biobanks, currently with focus on metabolic syndrome phenotypes in ENGAGE.

  • SIMBioMS - Systems for Information Management in BioMedical Studies: SIMBioMS is an open source data and project management IT platform. It is a web-based system for data exchange within large collaborative research studies. SIMBioMS consists of 4 interlinked functional modules each of which is optimised for specific information or activity: samples, experiments and administration.
